The top one is a salvia. I have the same one in my garden and can't remember the second name. I started keeping a garden spreadsheet because over the years... I forget what I planted or what it was called.

The second one is a rhododendron. Looks a bit like 'My Mary' by George Beasley, but with a bit more red. There's so many of these deciduous azaleas. They are lovely.

We moved into this house less than a year ago, so every month I am learning about what's blooming. It's a very nice problem to have :)
