hi all, went to an estate sale this morning. got there a little early and got in line (10 people). this guy was bring stuff from the back yard and staging them out front. out comes a mclane edger, older but clean. asked how much, he explained they sold it yesterday but the guy brought it back. told me to ask the cashier. when they opened up the lady at the door asked me if i was the 1 asking about the edger, i said yes and she said take it. i like free.

this is the 1st mclane i've done any work on, what a piece of. needed to get the recoil off, wouldn't come off the frame was in the way. had to unbolt the engine. found it has carb issues, needed to remove the gas tank, in order to get it off i had to remove the rear wheels! now my back hurts. lol. now it all apart and i have to go get parts tomorrow. loads of fun, this hummer better run good when i'm done. but it was free.
