did you want some privacy for the desk? there is just one door correct? how many sit in there on a regular basis?

Does the bulkhead or the door divide the room in two evenly......The TV is staying on that shelf correct?

Select a sofa that will look at the TV for the most viewers.....a sleek sectional might work with the short siding facing the sofa and the long side on the wall on the right.

A pair of stools would provide more seating in the TV area or for playing games....large art of a landscape or a pair over the long wall side above the sofa would provide a vista feeling.

The area at the end of the room with a window could then be set up as a library cum office with shelving, closed storage, maybe a computer area with a door top table set on short filing cabinets. Also adding pot lights on dimmers and two sets of switches would be nice too.
