I think navy and crisp white is totally a classic way to do a red bathroom. You could get sparkly glass knobs and brushed nickel towel rods/fixtures, or go with a darker, oil rubbed bronze finish for everything. I think you could use some pattern to break up all the solid surfaces. Do you have a shower curtain, or glass shower doors?

Are you opposed to painting it a color you love? I had a red bathroom for nearly ten years. The realtor told me to paint it before the sign went into the yard! I poured all the leftover neutral paints together to paint over primer. I could NOT believe how much larger and brighter the room felt.

But, curly, didn't you love having a red bathroom for a large part of that time?

@genevieve and @kellyography I don't have a curtain. Along the whole left side of the bathroom, first a bifold glass door closet, then a bathtub and finally a stand up shower with glass doors. I like the idea of black and white if I can find towels with a stripey black n white pattern.

You could do something more casual like a striped Dash and Albert rug with reds in it and do some black incorporated in this design with picture frames and other items!

Go all black and grays...the walls are bright enough that it won't make it feel closed in... it will also be modern if that's what you want!!!

These are some great colors to work with!!! If you want it fun and colorful!! If you use a colorful rug in there you have more choices on towels!!

I also love brown with red. A few red and dark brown accessories will complete the look.

Yep, I say if the red is staying, OWN it! Black & white touches will be great. Chevron pattern is awesome, but many others will work too.

Our bathroom is a similar red. (We have black and white antique tiles on the floor.) We have black and white toile shower curtain and window valance, and decorate with black/white accessories. Good luck!

I apologize for not answering the question as asked regarding how to accessorize. I think the part about "problem is brass....and too many mirrors" sent my thinking in the wrong direction! Have fun with it and enjoy your vibrant space!
