Paint Design Dilemma Home Repair

EPIC Fail with paint! please Help!

Hi! We had existing walls with sanded paint. There was a chair rail all around. We remove the chair rail and painted over but the sanded paint didn’t blend well. Does anyone have any suggestions how to cover up this mess without repainting?? Maybe something similar to chair rail??? Thank you in advance!!

More prep work was required. The walls need to be sanded down to hide all your patching. There are no short cuts for prep work.

You can't just remove a chair rail, paint over it, and expect it to look perfect. The walls need to be patched, sanded, and prepped for new paint. Unfortunately, yes you will have to repaint but first you need to properly prep that area.
