I would stop and reconsider switching out drawers for the base cabinets with doors, except for the sink cabinets. It will be easier to find storage space for all the utensils, if you have drawers. Also, an overhead plan would help us help you decide--you want the DW and dish/utensil storage near the DR, so that a helper unloading the DW, or gathering dishes and flatware to set the table, does not have to cross paths with the cook.

Why do you have so little space between the prep sink and the cooktop? Where will you prep? You hardly have any room either at that sink or the cleanup sink on the island.

Assuming dining is to the right in the illustration, I'd move the island sink and DWs over, to provide more prep space on one side, and put the dishes and flatware on that side in drawers.
