How do you display your quilts?

We hope to be moving into our new house in the next month or so and I'm looking at ways to display some of my quilts (finished and UFO's). They're mostly bed-sized, so too big for lounging. I'm looking at a ladder style so it can hold about 7 or so. Any success with those?

I have a traditional quilt rack but had to come up with some other methods after making so many quilts. So since I never found what I was looking for with the vintage ladders I asked DH if he could make one and he did, bless his soul, he made 3 of them. Here's a photo of one:

So I still needed some other options so I happened to be in Hobby Lobby (love that place!) and found these really cool metal wire bins so I now have 3 full of quilts. Here's 2 of them:

Large baskets and cloth bins serve the same purpose. I have a couple on the wall. I also have them folded at the foot of all the beds, draped over the backs of sofas, chairs, etc., too. Some people just stack them on top of a spare bed. Anything is better than hiding them away in some drawer or trunk as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, google "quilt ladder images". They are quite popular right now with the Farmhouse trend. My quilt guild uses them for display and they are awesome. I prefer the ladder over standing racks as they hold more and are not as bulky and/or wobbly. You can also search for how to make your own (lots of tutorials out there). I don't have any specific recommendations yet as I'm just starting my own quilt ladder journey. My plan right now is to repurpose an old wooden ladder, but just haven't found the time to get started. Good luck with your move and please show us how you end up displaying your quilts!

I haven't made any for myself yet. They have all been gifts or charity. Once I get the current six done for charity, and one almost completed for a friend, I'm hoping to finish a wall hanging for myself and make some aprons. At some point I want to decide on a quilt for my bed. Not sure if I'll ever have enough that I need to store them.

Just make sure if you repurpose an old ladder or build your own that you seal it really well. The oils and sap and whatever else may be in the wood will stain your quilts.

Just to clarify, I've made several wall hangings for myself, just no quilts for my bed.

Yes I would also like to clarify, I've given many quilts to all my loved ones and to close friends, (some more than one) in fact most of the first quilts I made went out to others. Since I still want to make quilts I now have many of them.

Correction, I have made some for myself, but they are wall hangings and they are hung...other than the Lotto one I haven't finished quilting.
