Mid-century modern Miami walkway

Should we replace or simply repair brick veneer walkway? We have plenty of extra brick tiles, but should we change it to something completely different? Better ideas? Our house is distinctly mid-century modern, and the “bricks” do not seem to fit the vibe of the house.

I would try staining them before replacing . Have them power washed first.

Hi, don’t know if you have finished your walkway but if you can use tile outside in your climate and since you have the turquoise door, you could try some tiles with a little color or a pop of color!

No view of front door from street or driveway. I suggest for better curb appeal, move front door even with rest of front of house, and then repairing the long dark brick veneer walkway will be moot.

Maybe something like this, and enclose the walkway....or make a false front door and keep the open air walkway to the real front door.

Local tiles for walkway, or brick in offset pattern, or cement squares like in photo.

The tiles look way better than the nasty, dirty concrete. I dislike tiles like that because they never stay solid on the edges of a step due to the weight and pressure (as you've seen). Stair edges should be large, single pieces, not many little ones.
