My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Loving the flooring- is this slate?

Hi Kristina. This space is amazing. I have 2 large dogs and feel this flooring would be a perfect choice for renovation. Could you please tell me more about it?

    The floors are great. We have plenty of children and they see a lot wear and tear. The maple hard wood floors were destroyed very quickly. The best part of the tile is the radiant heat. Hard to get the family to move on from the nice and warm floor in the winter!

      I use slate often in kitchens and bathrooms, it DOES scratch though, so just a heads up on that. The cleft finish I think really helps disguise it. You just can't get the same look with ceramic!

      Through my local tile supplier in Beverly, MA - The Tile Source. I think that Home Depot actually stocks a 12x24 slate tile that is very similar.
