is this cedar tongue in groove? what paint and technique did you use?

Thanks - it is a cedar panabode circa 1960 so was super dark and stained with water damage too. 2 coats of coverstain to kill the knots and 2+ coats of simply white and a lot of caulking did the trick beautifully. We also sanded the beams to make them look fresh again and then applied sansin clear coat to make them pop. It's a process but looks amazing in the end.
