hi all, thx in advance for your time. I'm trying to think of storage ideas for our family of four. I'm at a loss at what I should do. I currently have three Ikea shoe plastic drawers(trones I think) but I would prefer something more Joanna gainesey. the small area on the rleft of the door is about 18*18. should I put a coat rack there? where would I find a nice modern one? where the Ikea trones are now should I take them down and put white ship lap and hooks and a mini bench. unfortunately. the door on that side of the wall is the one that opens and closes. that wall is about 42". currently we all sit on the stairs to put on our shoes. in the summer we will be changing the flooring to a little bit of painted tile at the front door (due to snow) and then engineered hardwood through out the rest of the main floor. sorry for such a long post and thank you so much for your help!!!!
