prevent spiders, but NOT to kill them?

I am so perplexed why a brand new house can have so many spiders? Before we even moved in the brand new EMPTY house, we have found spiders and their webs here and there. Once we moved in, there are more.

Where were the tinier insects coming from for the spiders to eat with nothing here before we moved in. Even after we moved in, I have kept it almost sterile clean (exaggeration of course)......

How can we prevent them coming to our house? I am a pro life for every life; I don't want to KILL any lives.. I don't like to use pesticide in the house either.......no bug spray.....But I don't want them to come in the house either. Please help... Thanks

That's a very good question. I don't know what the spiders in my house eat--must be other spiders!

You might have to just grab each and every one and plop them outdoors. Make it part of a weekly routine. If you are uneasy handling them, post some really good photos here and get an identification so you know they are safe and can find what sort of environment they'd like. (And verify any ID you get!)

They're pretty common indoors. Especially in my doors. They don't do well outdoors in colder climates.

Thank you. Yes, I have those too. That's what I have always done, using a cup to take them outside.
