Not using scented Downy might decrease my exposure to carcinogens by just a hair. Deodorant, tap water, BPA, candles, etc all contain or produce carcinogenic materials when used or heated.

Woke up this morning and made a trip to Wally world. I won a $100 gift card for the store so I decided to buy some Downy! The Cool Cotton actually smells great. The scent is very light and clean (not a typo). Some might find it a bit sweet, however, I have yet to have the sickly sweet odor or Clean Breeze or April Fresh. The Honey Lavender version is not at Walmart, but there is a Rosewater and Aloe variant that smelled decent, but a little more floral than I prefer. Also, I did see an Odor Protect version in an ad for P$G. So far, I am quite impressed with this new stuff! Work uniforms smell great! Maybe they are listening?! I will report back after a few loads of laundry today!

If I remember correctly they had one called cool cotton before back when they made a version that would help with wrinkling. Then they discontinued it later.

sparky, I looked at that! It seems like it was a part of the Downy Total Care line?

Downy Premium Care was the name from 1999. There is a commercial on you tube for it. Doesn't give both scents but I thought one was the cotton but the other one smelled better to me. Wasn't on the market long. It was for help with wrinkling.

Thanks for your info about the Total Care line. I could have seen cool cotton on it and thinking it was also on the premium version.

I really want to try the new Downy... Rosewater and Aloe. Anyone try it yet?

The Rosewater and Aloe wasn't bad smelling, but just more floral than I prefer. It might only be at WalMart. I actually used the Cool Cotton on my sheets today. It is very subtle and fresh.

No new Downy in my Walmart today ....I was looking forward to smelling it

I have the new honey lavender naturals from downy too and love it. I am NOT typically a lavender person but this smells nothing like real lavender. It pairs with their tide pur honey lavender detergent. Target has the large bottles of it. I ordered it online since no target near me.

I’ll go to target tomorrow and check them out then!

I do really like the Lavender honey Tide Pur scent. So I'll be on the hunt for the FS. Thank You Larisa.

I'm heading to Target tomorrow to buy some sheets, etc. I will look there. Thank you Larisa, that's what I am hoping for! Now I am excited! The Cool Cotton bottle blends in with the Clean Breeze bottles, but has a slightly lighter lid color. FYI.

Well, I smelled the Honey Lavender and was not impressed. It smells quite a bit like the Downy Infusions Lavender. The Gain Expressions White Tea and Lavender smells like the Downy Botanical Mist. It seems like another case of rebadging!
