Admit you are a citraholic and commiserate with the rest of us about lack of space. lol.

I am trying to resist the temptation to plant another in ground citrus tree this year, I have only planted 1 new citrus this year so far, the most recent attempt to resist the call was by planting a Joey Avocado tree last week. Here on the 8b/9a line they require about the same level of freeze protection as citrus (tolerant to about 17F).

I will pray for all of you and your citrus addictions. At least most of all of my graftings die qand keeps my addiction under controll. LOL

I started with one the first year. Then two the next year. Then five, after a road trip to Logees. Six after a spotted a NZL. Eight after black Friday sale. Now I’m standing at 11 (in a one bedroom apartment) and I keep telling myself that I ‘just’ need 5 more, then I’m done...for now.

Once I get that greenhouse I dream about, I could easily justify another dozen. It’s completely an addiction.

I have a seed grown Fukushu kumquat at 3'8" tall with a well developed width of 2'. It will be putting on a lot of growth with 60 start over a half inch long. My in ground NZL on C-35 is lanky with a few branches. It is about 5 feet and I hope it fills out like your tree pictured above.

Did more grafting on none citrus tree's. Some examples are a Atemoya tree and also a bunch of persimmons, had to topwork these guys so that the tree's are more manageable(shorter). About a couple of dozen, then i am done for the season.
