Ideas for decorating wall behind my couch...

Just thought I'd see if anybody had suggestions on what I should put on the wall behind the couch, above the sideboard. It's pretty bare right now.

Was thinking some sort of a large vintage metal sign, but I have yet to find one large enough that also fits my tastes...

Ideas?

How about a large rectangular mirror in a bold contemporary frame to act as a feature plus it will make the room lighter & larger

That's a nice unique place!! I like the idea of a metal sign or art. Something like this maybe?

A tone on tone all over wall stencil would add both color and texture. Maybe the gray from the rug or one of the colors from the side board. You have modern so why not go to art.com and pick out some large modern art with a lot of color and add some vintage signs mixed in. Have fun and go WILD

You could get some vintage (replica) paper signs and have them blown up to the size you need, frame them and there you go! Or if you have a Hobby Lobby near you they have them in metal.

I kinda like the industrial look of this large scale photo, and the way the blue and copper in it bring out the colors in your sofa table

Your idea of a large metal sign is awesome! It will go with that contemporay industrial vibe you've got going on. Don't settle for something else, make the search for the right piece your mission!
