you can move a pot anytime you want ...

if you mean.. plant them.. go for it ... get rid of media.. plant in native soil ... presuming the pots have been outdoors all winter..

if not.. harden them off.. to outdoor temps for a week or so ...

z5 is about half the US.. and wildly divergent.. if you plan on hanging around the garden forums.. add your location on your members page.. so it shows up on your posts ...

ps: they can be moved any time you wish ... its just an issue of how they might react if in the heat of summer... or heave if small and you do it deep into fall ...

btw ... if they are just pips.. little bullets.. they are frost and freeze proof.. those were there all winter ...

but.. once the leaves start unfurling.. they can be damaged by frost and freeze ... and in my z5 MI.. either is possible thru the 3rd or 4th week of may ... so you might want to hold off.. if they are leafed out ...

Hostas are hardy plants. Mine don't mind when I decide to move them. I have moved mine anytime from spring to early fall.

Yes, very hardy. I have a huge Patriot hosta coming up. Last week I got my sharp and trusty tile spade, shoved it right down the center of the 2” tall just-emerging hosta, and hacked it in half. I dug up one half and set it about 4’ away.

Today, both clumps are about 6” tall. I don’t think Patriot even realized it underwent major surgery.
