Theresa, I'm kind of a control freak when it comes to quilts. I can't do totally scrappy.

Donna, the white fabric was yardage that I cut into 1.5" strip that I then strip pieced with the color. The blocks aren't pressed yet, so they probably look a little wonky.

The block pattern is the one from Quilters' Cache. I just resized it so I could use my 1.5" strips and smaller scraps for the main color. The block will end up 8" finished. I plan on making a 5x6 block quilt, so it will be pretty small - 40x48. I may leave it that size as a kid's quilt, or I might add borders. It depends how it looks.

Here it is assembled. It's 40x48, a good size for a kid's quilt. I don't know what binding and backing I will use yet. I've got eight quilt tops in line to finish before this one.

Donna, I'm somewhat better, but my right arm is still painful and limited as to what it can do. It's four weeks this Wednesday, and I'm really ready to be over this.
