Thank you! The roof is being done in a few weeks and we went with a dark charcoal, almost black. We have plans for the landscaping, but decided to hold off until the roof and paint is done.

That was another thing that bothered me...if the shutters were real, they wouldn't fit the windows! So silly. I think I'll see about having them removed completely and have just a nice white border for each. Appreciate the feedback!

That Houzz pic is what I wish mine looked like! Thank you for the edits! I’ll play around with a lighter gray, softer white, and black ‘shutters’ to see how that feels.

And re: the arch. I feel pretty ‘meh’ about it. It’s wonky, but not nearly as bothersome as these weird shutters! Lol

For me, the biggest problem with the shutters is that they aren't tall enough. They should go from the top of the painted frame to the bottom, like the picture celerygirl posted (Cumberland Estates Drive), with the red door.

Shutters should add charm, the ones you have aren't bad, just could use a bit of length.
