I am going to buy some connectors for my LED T5s to start. I had just plugged them into a surge protector individually instead of connecting them to each other and using one plug, which ultimately meant that I plugged one surge protector into another, that is not a good idea.

Along the same lines I may replace some of the fluorescent bulb fixtures with connectable LED T5s. I had been thinking of doing that anyway as the Texas summer will be here soon and there is a notable difference in heat production between the Fluorescents and the LEDs.

And (not an African Violet change) I should probably hide my rubber door prop I use to keep the door open when I bring groceries in.

It is a good idea to buy power strips that have not only surge protector but are heat proof as well The sel them in HD and they have a blue label. A friend lost his house - and AV collection - because of old style power strips got overheated...
