Moved here from FL last August. Used to heat and humidity! I am impressed with knowledge here and wondered if you have suggestions. I have mulched beds, wooded area and bog area leading to dock. Bog area part sun and shifting shade. Flower beds full sun except under crape myrtles. Clay soil except for amended soil in flower beds. Located between Elizabeth City and Outer Banks where Pasoquatank empties into Albermerle Sound. I like flowers, fruiting trees, and bushes/trees with interesting foliage. Have some Azaleas, Knockout Roses, Crape Myrtles, Butterfly Bush, variegated Beauty Berry and Iris.
