Basement Kitchen

This photo is from the listing of our house before we bought it. It shows the kitchen cabinets at one end of the room. The cabinets are currently sort of a pink color with hunter green counter. This week the cabinets are being painted white and I’m shopping for a new sink and faucet. New laminate is going on the counter using the existing counter as a base, so we can’t use an undermount sink. The sink is currently a beige bar style sink that’d I’d really like to replace with something a little bit larger, but not necessarily a kitchen sink. I’m thinking something white, larger than a bar sink and with only one basin. We don’t do dishes there, but it’s occasionally nice to have a little more room. Should I use a single, smaller basic kitchen sink and kitchen faucet? Or stick with bar-style sink and hardware? Thanks!

BTW, pink vertical blinds have come down from the sliders and walls are being painted SW Rain.
