I feel that your light fixture is the star in the room. I'd leave the table completely blank or at the most, a shallow, sculptural piece.

I agree with linda. Lose the smaller vase. If it were my table, I would be inclined to find a pretty succulent arrangement or even an orchid (I know it's a bit of a cliche, but the color and texture can't be beat.)

You have a beautiful dining room.

Maybe something like...

Your table needs life-.

However, I wouldn't want an item with dirt in it on top of my dining table. Get three clear glass bubble vases (2-small, 1 larger) for flowers (real or fake) and stagger 2 pillar candles between them. Maybe remote control fake candles? Change your flowers as it suits you or.... As a mother of two- you deserve weekly flower bunch. Divide it between your three vases. Happy early Mother's Day to you

faux flowers- The stems are bound with floral tape- makes changing bouquets easier

When you have larger gatherings (holidays), add another pair of candle sticks to visually extend your centerpiece.

I like it as is, primarily b/c different. No candles no flowers no trays. Yours is perfect

Out of the two above, I prefer the flower vases.

I prefer the flower one, as well.
