Remodeling Flooring Woodworking

We’re remodeling an old house and the trim boards and baseboards are stamped with this- I’m trying to find pictures of this wood refinished in different colors for inspiration but keep reading that all pine stains differently. Any ideas what kind this is? And what the floors may be?

You can sand a portion out of the way like in a closet and then try a few different stains on the floor to see what they would look like. Have you tried to find and call the manufacturer? It looks like southern yellow pine but could be another similar species.

Your floors look gorgeous ! They may just need a good cleaning and polishing. I would not change the color - it's perfect with just about any colors one might use in the room.
