Does anyone here remember what rain looks like? It is likely some of us will receive rainfall of some sort this week. I've noticed that the forecast has chances of rain for someone in OK every day for the next few days. There's a chance some of these storms will be severe.

I noticed while working on clearing invasive weeds out of the northern fenceline area yesterday that the sandier soil at that end of the garden was very, very, very dry. I was shocked at how dry it was considering we had 2" of rain about 10 days ago. There's just none of that moisture left in the top few inches of that sandy soil.

I hope all of us get some badly needed rain for our landscapes and gardens but without hail, tornadoes, damaging winds, etc.
