Hi all! I have a couple of hanging baskets on my house that are in almost full shade. The previous owner had fake flowers in them and I would like to clean them out and put real flowers in. I have read that Lungwort, Hostas, Siberian Squill, and Heuchera should do ok. I am hesitant about the first three because I have cats and they chew on everything. I have a lot of Heuchera in my other shady areas (and I love them!) but I was hoping to find something different if any one has any suggestions. I would really like succulents, but I don't know of any them would do well in that much shade. I would also prefer plants that do well in dry soil, mostly because I don't want them to die if I forget about them for a week or so! I am in zone 6, but the planters will not get snow in them, they are up against the house. I will attach a photo of a similar type planter to the ones I would be putting plants in! Any advice is welcome, also I cannot move the containers, I have other ones in other places. I am really hoping to leave these where they are.
