Paint that matches wall tile. Art that incorporates wall and floor color. Big white rug on floor and white fluffy towels and beautiful white shower curtain with texture. Frame out mirror with molding. Silver curtain rod white curtain.

I actually like the pale yellow tile...it's the paint that's making me a bit crazy. Paint the walls a shade of white that compliments the undertone in the yellow. I would paint the walls a warm white and find artwork/rugs with complimentary colors to floor tile and wall tile colors. While I like wizzlestick's suggestion to use a lot of white, I don't think white rugs and towels would work in a kid's room, unless you like doing daily laundry. Agree with others to frame mirror with trim (in white). Remove window valence, use white blinds if need privacy. There are cheap ones at big box hardware stores that are cordless that look great. I use them in my vacation rentals and they hold up very well. As time permits, replace Lucite towel bars with chrome to match faucets. The shower curtain rod is installed too far inside of the tub, when you paint, move it out several inches as long as it doesn't interfere with the door opening. Be glad that you have tile walls and floor with kids, just make sure the grout is integral and repair as necessary.

I would paint the walls navy, replace the mirrors with two round ones, get new sconces and shade, and place a large enough rug to cover up the majority of the floor tile.
