Maison C. Wallpaper Defective

I ordered expensive wallpaper from Maison C. The paper when hung revealed that it had defects in the print (fingerprints). The company replaced it and I had to pay to have it hung again. Same defect. Company saw the defect and still will not honor its product or refund. Buyers beware. Horrible experience. Stay away from this company’s products.

Warn others I suppose. No one should have this type of experience with a high end company.

Wallpaper should ALWAYS be inspected completely BEFORE hanging it.

It was inspected. The defect didn’t come out until glued and hung. I then ordered another lot and same thing happened. Company was horrid.

Are these fingerprints on the surface or something bleeding through from the back? Or maybe residue of wallpaper glue?

If fingerprints, can you try an art gum eraser? Any chance, the prints were caused during installation? At least that would make them easier to remove.

My experienced wallpaper hanger said the company didn’t let the panels dry so when the printer picked it up it stripped the ink. Also “Ground” is too thin. Ordered two sets and inkless blemishes appeared on every panel AFTER they were hung. Company has been awful to deal with. Too bad @maison_c_wallpaper has pretty designs but in my case an awful flaw and terrible customer service.
