Hi all, I have been trying to find a nice Japanese Maple with green leaves in spring and summer but, really nice fall color. I had looked at lottsa pictures online, and I love the Japanese Maple "Osakazuki" that I'd seen in pictures online.

So, I am just wondering if someone reading this could let me know how good this tree would be for zone 6a SW Pa ? I have a Red Foliaged Japanese Maple. It is always red foliaged. I have planted it in a shaded place in my yard, it's been there since last spring (spring of 2017) and is doing fine, but, I think I may use it where the tree that I hope to get (that has green spring and summer foliage) would go. I say that because I am really not so sure that I will be able to find the Japanese maple with green foliage that turns orange and reddish orange in fall, so I may just have to settle for the $10.00 Red Japanese Maple. I am thinking that many people reading this MAY be surprised that I was able to get a Japanese Maple for $10.00. But, it's true, I did buy a Japanese Maple last year for $10.00 plus tax. I am not sure where I got it from though. But, It was either ALDI'S food stores, Wal-mart or Lowes. BUT, that $10.00 tree is a Red foliaged Jap.Maple tree, so fall color will be the same as the color that it always has. Maybe I should just be happy and plant my $10.00 J. M. tree? If you know of a nice tree Japanese Maple that has green foliage, but, in fall will turn a nice vibrant orange or orange red, I hope you can name that tree or "those" trees. I will be looking myself, too, but, I hope that someone who has had success with a certain type of J.M. can say so. Thanks.
