Bluegrass Seedhead Height

Have been cutting the grass at the highest setting with a sharp, straight balanced blade, and alternate the cutting directions each mow to encourage the grass blades to grow straight. Fertilized heavy last fall, none this spring and has really took off with the rains. Have mowed 4 times already.

Anyway my question is the seedheads of the bluegrass plant exhibit themselves at this cutting height a little faster and are a bit unsightly in some areas, will the actual seedhead height of the plant vary over time and cutting height or is this wishful thinking? Can they be "trained" to go away if I keep cutting at this new height frequently?
