Just looked up serrated amelanchier and looks like it could be Laevies

My memory of what I have read is that there are also natural hybrids, so that is a possibility also.

It looks like the leaves on my laevis,which has many seedling every year.

Thats what I think it is... I've looked at a bunch of pics and it points to that.. Apparently laevis is quite common here in Southern Ontario... and it doesn't sucker as much so often a single trunk or perhaps one or two others. I noticed the "mother" tree was a single trunk. Thanks...
