Hi all! I recently caught my beagle munching away on a perennial in my yard. To make sure it was safe for him, I set out to figure out what this plant is called. A little google digging led me to yarrow, which is toxic to dogs. Needless to say, I immediately began pulling both large clumps out of the flower bed, and started digging up roots. I’ve read that the rhizomes are persistent little buggers, so I’m doing my best to dig up the entire root systems. Should I also be spraying round-up to control for the roots that get left behind?
