Ken, I am hoping this yellow is a bit more distinct specially as it getting older but yeah, it is one more yellow... guess we are not passing 10 ft rule here LOL

its young ... and early in the season .... it might become more IDable later in the year.. or a few years from now ... ken

Contrary Mary is local to me and she often serves if not as source of plants but also as source for inspiration. I got it from Mary few years back, plant did not start shining till moved to this sunnier location.

Thing that i have noticed that hostas at least some of them, move in a wave of fashion or maybe TC selection of the year? Like I got hosta Winfield Mist and James Matthew only now to realize that over the years they have become "rare"...

I think it’s nice to be introduced to something new (new to me). It’s a beautiful plant.

lindalana- I wondering if it is lutescent or viridescent... does it get more yellow as the season progresses? I’m partial to those...

Thanks! Windymess, I will keep an eye on it for color but from memory it does keep color well. Looks a bit subdued without sunny weather now compare to May.

DTeager I totally hear you, it is hard enough to figure out most duplicates in hosta world, never mind some rather rare varieties. I think I got lucky because I found a tag without digging entire clump lol
