Their portion of the remodel is the price range that they posted on this job. The entire remodel was many times more. I did not post the price of the remodel out of respect for the homeowners on this project because they preferred to keep that confidential. What are the dimensions of the island and island extension? Thanks

could you share the square footage of the kitchen. Trying to assess the size of the island in context with the overall space. Planning a similarly sized island in our new build and love this design!

Can you tell me where you purchased the bar stools?

The barstools are by Everly Quinn. They are the Malin counter stool. They only come with brown seats, so we reupholstered them in a cream vinyl by Kravet. Best of luck with your project!

@treylin, the 50K is probably just for the painters if they painted the entire house plus cabinets. I am doing a complete remodel with design work, for a client in Austin and her small kitchen is running around $150K. Unfortunately, everything is expensive today, even paint is no longer cheap. One gallon of a good paint, can run about $120 bucks. It’s insane out here. The days of cheap labor is over. With immigrants gone, very few craftsmen were left behind and those are busy, and crazy expensive. Very few Americans want to work in the construction industry, and parents want their kids to go to college. The average tradesperson is 58, and they’ll be retiring soon. The construction industry will be in a much worse pickle and people will no longer be able to afford to buy a house. A sad state of affairs.
