My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
So my 2 year old Deodora is browning out. Cant get an arborist out until late next week. Looking tor for input on what may be happening. Im so scared im going to lose it. Live in southeastern PA
yep looks like a classic presentation of winter burn.
For 2 years in the ground I would have expected a known hardy clone to do a *little* better. My 'Shalimar' in far northeastern MD was slightly injured in PV-1, not at all in PV-2 IIRC, and not at all in the most recent PV-3. Only difference might be that mine has some winter morning shade. Hopefully the nursery sold you one of those known hardy varieties and not just a seedling.
It will recover but an arborist isn't going to be able fix the fact you don't have a hardy one, if you don't. Southeastern PA could mean zone 7b to zone 6b or even 6a in the coldest frost hollows at elevation.
