So sorry. So tell me about the "trusted sources". That is scary. Any chance you just picked up a few good lookers from a big box? Damn. Need to make good records no matter how good you think your memory will work. After a few years we all forget sources unless we write them down. I skipped a year of record keeping and am paying the price trying to figure out who was ok last year and who is prospering this year, and who is well, GONE.

I have never seen such a wave of colour invade a Hosta quite like that.

Among my numerous lists are annual ones listing new purchases for that year - their source/vendor, number of shoots and price. Even this list isn't helping me find my no shows however as I have changed up the pots without noting which hosta.:(. Just had a thought...if there was a discussion at any time about this Hosta could you search gardenweb to locate it? We could help in that regard if we knew the name?

I know how you feel..I had an infected Gold Standard..the spot where it was planted is still empty..and the Gold Standard that was next to it tested negative but I pretty much ignore that location lol..
