I went to a garden swap and brought home some iris labeled Dorothea K. Williamson. They were bare root, not potted, with rhizomes at least 8 inches long attached to each fan. I have a low area in my yard that floods when it rains. I don’t have a pond or anything.

Will they do okay there? It’s not full sun: all my damp areas are part shade at least part of the day. They will get periods of sun, then full sun from about 3 pm onward.
