Not an "it", more correctly a "them". Chinese Fan Palms are solitary plants so you have 3 in there (counting what looks dead already). They're a tough palm that like a lot of sun. So I'd suspect the damage was more likely no water rather than sun. Normally in the ground their deep root system makes them fairly drought tolerant, but in a pot they'd be more susceptible to drying out. Just make sure the root system get thoroughly wet and then let it drain out. While it's recovering give it partial shade. Later you can gradually put it into full sun.
