Found a lake home we are interested in. It has one small bathroom on the first floor. The 2nd floor has 4 bedrooms (all the same, no master)and one small bathroom. We are considering knocking down a wall and combining 2 of the bedrooms into a master bedroom and bath. This would be inside the existing home, not an addition. The new bath would not be able to share a plumbing wall with the existing 2nd floor bathroom, as the plumbing is on a stair wall. Can anyone advise regarding how difficult this would be? The home does not have a basement.
