That Luna Moth is really something! I look forward to seeing the Astillbe bloom too. They alway look so pretty with hostas. Astillbes don't seem to do that well here. I have two of them and they just really don't do much. I am contemplating giving them away. More room for hostas!

Claudia, I pretty much divide astilbe anytime throughout the gardening season. The roots are shallow so it is easy to divide. Keep them hydrated.
