Guys... it’s a blessing and a curse in itself. Every time i see their yard i want mine to look like that NOW!!!

The family lives across of my house. They are nice and we help each other out but how do I say that... they aren’t the kind who would ever share or trade plants.

Like I said when they got rid of half of their Hosta garden they dumped all plants into the ditch and rather had them go to waste than asking if anyone wanted them. I looked at the plants for a week before I took a deep breath and called them.

They do have a very beautiful garden! Maybe now that they know that you are interested in Hostas, they will ask you next time they want to get rid of some.

And the angels did sing! Wowsers. Their yard is amazing. And you take great pictures!

Maybe since they let you on the property to take the photos, you can forge a relationship with the gardener and shower them with compliments, then they might be willing to share divisions with you. Homemade cookies don’t hurt either
