I'm looking for recommendations for a semi-solid wood stain (one with extensive colour choices), as well as input from anyone who's recently used Cabot Semi-Solid stain. This is what I used years back on my deck/fence - loved the colour and it held up well, so I'd like to use it again. But I've read it's been reformulated and the reviews are bad. That said, the reviews seem to be bad for a lot of brands (!) so I'm wondering if it's just a case of bad application. Very confused about what brand I should use so would appreciate any advice. Thx.
