I am thinking of putting white painted brick on all 3 sides of my 15 foot wood fireplace in my bedroom. I am going to have light stained white oak floors in the bedroom. What hearth would you do with this? Should it be brick or another material? I might put a distressed wood mantle on it and the large TV would hang above it. I am not looking to go too rustic.

Also, the pics of the white brick are from a restaurant I visited. Does anyone know what kind of brick (1/2 brick) I should use for this?
