TINY black dots on adenium seedling leaves

last modified: 8 years ago

I have some adenium obesum seedlings which I planted from seed, which are now about 6 weeks old. I just noticed one of the seedlings (they're in seperate pots), has tiny, TINY black dots on it's leaves and one of the newest leaves has "disolved". Is this sooty mold? I see no aphids so really not sure. The dots can be wiped off and under a magnifying glass, you can see them sitting on top of the leaf, not within the leaf. This also occurred to one of my older plants and I sprayed it with a diluted H2O2 solution, but I'm worried that it may kill the seedling. Any thoughts??? (No working camera to download pics, and I think I couldn't enlarge the pic enough to show it anyway).
