Sizing for box spring

Hello,
In the pictures it appears there is no box spring, but it says a box spring is required. What size box spring would be recommended? And also, what is the distance between the bottom of the headboard and where the box spring would go? Trying to calculate bed size, along with box spring size to fill the gap.
