Because the fungicide is heavier than the water, the fungicide stayed in the bottom of your sprayer so in all likelihood what you sprayed was more water than fungicide. . So I'd go out tomorrow Shake It Up and give it another light coating.

This was before I mixed the concentrated chemical with water. Do you still think the same? Thanks for your help and at least some relief!

Was it straight fungicide or had you added the water and just not shaken it ?

You didnt shake the Bayer before you added it to the water. You are still fine. You just gave it a weak treatment

You just gave your roses a weaker solution of fungicide, as Kristine says. I would wait until the next scheduled spray date to spray, just to be safe.

i dont know why you would lose the plants .... but if you double up by respraying.. maybe you will ...

do you have an ongoing problem that required the spray ... or is this preventative .... as many rose growers do????

Thanks everyone. The plants all still look fine so far. I really appreciate everyone’s advice! I’ll wait a week before adding any more.

Ken — blackspot madness here in eastern va. Plants that don’t even get it have it thanks to all the rain. I only sprayed hose affected so far. It also rained overnight (shocking, right?!) so that may have helped me some as well.
