I’m not sure if this is what’s been eating holes in the leaves on some of my perennials but something is and I need to get to the bottom of it ASAP. In the first few pics the flying insect is on some tall phlox I just planted today. The last two are on echinacea that was planted last year. You can see something is eating the leaves. The same bug or another is eating similar cuts out of arctic fire dogwood I just planted this spring! I used seven spray a week or two ago.. today I bought and used captain jacks spray. If it’s not this bug, what other little buggers might be the culprit? Grrr!
