Seeds to give away

last modified: 8 years ago

I have a pod of Evergreen x papilio that is nearly ripe. The two pods that have opened have each had about 30 viable seeds. I'd be willing to send 5-6 seeds to the first 5 people who are interested.

I will probably have viable seed from papilio x Lima and papilio x Evergreen. Again, I'd be willing to share 5-6 seeds to a few folks (I will want to keep some of these too!).

I have two HUGE pods on "Big Red" (probably a Red Lion). Not sure if they are selfed or crossed with papilio (I dusted papilio pollen on almost everything). I suspect these pods are selfed (the one bloom that was for sure dusted with papilio did not take).

I will have a lot of false freesia (Anomatheca laxa) seeds to share too. Last summer when I planted the false freesia, they didn't grow. I thought I did something wrong. However, in Spring, they took off! I even have them growing in a neglected patch of my lawn (the seeds fell from nearby plants last year). They're a pretty little melon/salmon colored flower.

Send me a private message with your contact information if you'd like some seeds! First come, first served! It will be about 2 weeks before all the pods are ready to harvest and the seeds are ready to be sent.
