Dining Table Decisions HELP (Poll)

Please help me choose. I really like the look of the farmhouse table with the wishbone chairs. I've also including my living room as it's open concept. I would like suggestions on area rugs too...although that might be a bad idea with a busy family....

The most flexible table is #3 from Pottery barn...it starts by sitting 8 and can move up to 12.

just a thought-- but with #3, the end ledges are not long enough to comfortably pull a chair up to with the bar across the bottom. speaking from experience on that one. Our farm table has a similar concept shape. if you can fit all 12 along the sides or put children on the ends, its not as much a concern. I LOVE #1/#5, but #3 seems to really suit that sofa/furniture style.

edit: just seeing that yall beat me to the punch about the ends of that table :)

Number one seems most comfy for legs. The ends of number 3 don’t look fun to sit at.

Benchwright. It's fine with the leaves...but yes..the ends would be a PAIN if leaves were not in use. Okay..scratching that off the list.

My3dog. That was my first pick too. I'm torn because I would like to be able to sit more people if needed.
