Will these work OK without cushions?

Are these rocking chairs decently comfy without cushions? Is the wicker waterproof-- can I leave them outside year-round and hose off when needed?

    Hi Joanne, I think the cushions would make this more comfortable. i think it might be workable w/out for a small child. it isn't waterproof, so if you want to be able to hose it off w/out damaging i would recommend doing some waterproofing on your end first to help. thank you!
