The flowers are pretty seasonal, but spectacular when in season. Can I ask where you found this. I've been wanting this one since I saw the flowers on a website.

Thanks aloebot. I found it a a local nursery when they opened last spring. I regret not buying multiples (to think I almost didn’t buy it). I have always been curious about this plant but I wasn’t sure if they needed meticulous care for them to bloom like this. Apparently not. I do get lots of direct sun in my patio. :-)

Delosperma are very easy and like water. Some bloom contiuously, others don't. As long as the soil drains well, water whenever they are dry and see how they do. I have little yellow flowered plant that always has a flower or two on it

Here in CA the 'fire series' flowers for months.

I had no idea that these have a long blooming season. I'll have to get some. I'm in St. Petersburg Fl. but my soil is basically sand so it's always dry even with the summer rains we get here.
